1. Get in contact with your Affiliate Manager. Their information should be in the welcome email you received when you signed up for their program. Your Affiliate Manager knows what selling and what’s not. It’s great to be in contact a least one every two weeks.

A good affiliate manager will tell you what products or services are selling, along with what marketing strategies are converting to sales.

2. Continue to read and follow blogs you find informative, look at the their writing styles, you will see some are straight information sites while others are more on a personal level. It’s believe it great to have a balance of both so you can learn from a different perspective.

Twitter is very powerful yet very minimal.

I wanted to send twits from my cell phone for those times when I’m out and about. So last night I set up my phone to access my twitter account. Once I got it all set up (which only took a few seconds) I sent twitter a twit. I refreshed my twitter page and bingo there is was, I also noticed my signature I had previously set in my phone was also sent.

By the way my phone is an old piece of junk Sanyo Katana.

So that got me thinking – “Can I make that signature an active link?”

My phone signature previously read www.oneguysblog.com. I set that up so when my friends received texts they would see my website address and hopefully visit it – but I found something better
After editing my cell phone signature to include http://, all the test twits I sent had links. Not bad for some trial and error eh? Look at the results

Obviously You have to add symbols and letters, but it‘s going to be well worth it.

Head over to SEO tools – keyword tools and bookmark it. Notice the search bar on the center of the page; this is where you enter your ideas or keywords. See image.

Start by entering a single keyword and clicking submit. A list of results will be displayed, along with other related search terms. See image.

The columns are pretty self explanatory – Take note of the Google, yahoo, and msn daily searches, but what we really want to see is how much the advertisers are paying for these keywords. To do this go to the Google Traffic Estimator Column. (I’ve highlighted it in green in the above image)

Click the G traf est link for a keyword of your choice and you’ll be redirected to Google Adwords.

Once on the Google adwords page, have a look at the Estimated Avg. CPC. (Cost Per Click to Advertisers) column. This tells you how much money advertisers are paying for the specified keywords. It’s safe to say we can expect to earn about 20-40% of the CPC. See image below.

Your websites content, privacy policy, and site map will affect how much you earn through the Adsense program.
